Upcoming Tryouts

Fall 2026 tryouts will be held in person open to any student at UConn. If interested, email uconnkicklineteam@gmail.com, or through the contact page for information on how to register for tryouts and further updates.

Tryout 1: Tuesday September 15, 2026 from 7:00-9:00 pm, Hawley Armory

Tryout 2: Wednesday September 16, 2026 from 8:30-10:30, Shippee Pequot Room

We will not be holding Tryouts in Spring 2027.

General Info

Kickline holds tryouts at the beginning of every semester. (The spring tryout depends on the needs of the team at that time and are not guaranteed.) Any UConn student is welcome to try out for the team regardless of class year or prior dance experience. Please make sure to register for tryouts on UContact, signing in with your UConn email. During tryouts you will be asked to memorize and perform a routine the captains teach, as well as showcase dance skills and tricks.
